Books were handed out, we discussed the main focus fo the course and key issues related to history (e.g., processes of change, the difference between facts and interpretation)
We discussed some about industrialization, capitalism, socialism.
Please note that even though the book includes some double-page spreads that are sponsored by the History Channel, these are not properly part of the textbook. These are, I believe, a sort of paid sponsorship and are completely separate in terms of authorship and content from the book's chapters.
